The mexican muralists passion - Part 1

Murals inside the Palace of Fine Arts are definitely something you can not miss if you love art and going to Mexico.

Being in front of those huge works of art is very impressive. All these muralists were very committed to their society and their country ... and very passionate about their painting.

Siqueiros said "You can not make revolutionary music with church organs" .... indeed, these painters way of painting, manages to give the desired message, by dint of passion!

Art Palace in Mexico city

This wonderful building is located in the historical centre of the city. Is really amazing... and when you start walking and approaching the details are beatifully revealed.
The palace is dedicated to all the arts and holds a wonderful auditorium. Inside the building you instantly notice the murals covering all the walls. They are huge. All the muralist (at least the ones I know!) have a piece on its wall: Siqueiros, Rivera, Orozco, Tamayo y Camarena.
Next time, I will show you the murals... the art pieces are trully amazing, full of strengh and art.

Taxco

A "magical village" in Mexico. A lovely place, with a strong activity related to silver and jewelry. A place that is worth to visit and walk.

This time in colours... next time black and white.
