Sunday is a good day to be painting...

Sunday at home is a family day, a day to rest, to share and also to paint!
For me is a total pleasure to be in my studio painting, with my kids coming to chat... all this while my hubby prepares something amazing in the grill. 

A perfect Sunday for me.

New shelves in my studio

I keep adding things and storing spaces are very useful!  I have three new shelves and one I had overflowed is already feeling relieved.

Holiday self promises

Has happened to you returning from holiday full of self-promises??? like: I will start -again- going to the gym, I will read more books or I will find more time for myself ...

Well this time this didn't really happened to me... I only returned with small ideas in my head.

As recycling this lamp that I abandoned before. I had started recycling it a few years ago, but abandoned it because the results were very very ugly.

The screen was damaged and this lamp had no longer a place at home. 

This time when I restarted recycling it, I decided to keep it simple and just give over some joy with wire ... then followed the beads. Nothing pretentious, but I'm happy with the result. It now found its place.

My studio today, recycled doors

Painting, I realized that I never showed you the door of my atellier.
We have recycled it (with my husband). It was painted with all the possible colors: blue, green, brown... it was quite a project, but I like how it looks now.

If I don't call myself an artist... who will?

All the doors and windows of the grill house were recycled by us.
Here is another sample... the other atellier door. This was really difficult, very old, with a lot of paint and one of the colors it had oil base. But it was worth it, a beautiful wood showed up!

Travelling from 2011 to 2012

During 2011 I reconnected with art, I started painting again, drawing and carving... many other things too.
This year was also full of other personal matters and being connected with art was very helpful for me.
Doing what I love, gave me a lot of joy and the possibility to connect with you. I also launched my blog this year!
Thank you for sharing part of this year with me.


Today is the beginning of a new year!


I started it with new little changes in my studio. Because change is good!.

Painting presents

I've been painting some pots as presents.

A little of ink painting a nice label, some homemade wrapping paper and it is done!.

Mom ...I took some photos for your blog

Wonderful, right? While I was working in her future bed, my daughter was taking pictures, to give me a surprise. Looking around the studio, she took some lovely photos. She was so excited and proud, that how could I resist...
